We are an independently-managed entity designed to extend and connect the EMERGE@Simpson program to startups with high commercialization potential, regardless of their degree of affiliation with Simpson College. We do this through direct Incubation Services, Carver Connections, and Seed Capital Fund as described below. |

Incubation Services:
The Emerge Foundation's incubation model is designed to provide the academic support, entrepreneurial skills, supportive network, and setting to help startups with high commercialization potential succeed. Levels of services provided to enrolled ventures are-
The Foundation also provides startup capital in exchange for up to 2.5% of equity based on funding availability and commercialization potential.
- Entry-Level General Services and Proof of Concept Advising (included with Carver Connections)
- Intermediate-Level Entrepreneurial and Venture Development (2.5% equity ownership by the Foundation)
- Advanced Business Planning and Enterprise Pathways Services (deferred billed rates + 2.5% equity ownership)
The Foundation also provides startup capital in exchange for up to 2.5% of equity based on funding availability and commercialization potential.
Carver Connections:
The Emerge Foundation’s Carver Connections is a launch services network in conjunction with Indianola's LaunchPad65. The group accesses regional and statewide resources for Iowa entrepreneurs and innovators not otherwise affiliated with Simpson College. Our community seeks to inspire, connect to, and leverage talents and technologies that foster new opportunities and grow local economies.

Seed Capital:
A 2021 goal is to build upon NanoBio Designs' $375,000 capital raise and demonstrate new opportunities for stakeholders to expand the program's base of investors. Program Summary Docs:
